Congressional candidate Paul Rizzo has announced he has achieved ballot access for the November general election to run against incumbent Republican Charlie Dent and Democrat Rick Daugherty in the 15th District.
Rizzo, of Hanover Township, is the first Libertarian to run for this Congressional seat since 2004, when Richard J. Piotrowski ran.
Rizzo says he is looking forward to bringing the message of limited government, less taxes and more personal freedom to the 2016 election.
The candidate is married and has two children.
After earning a diploma at Somerset Technical Institute for telecommunications, Rizzo has worked in the telecommunications industry for more than 20 years.
He also has served as chair of the Northampton Libertarian Party.
