Northampton police
Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.
SEPT. 1
A reportable two-vehicle accident occurred at Washington Avenue and 18th Street.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 100 block of Stark Street. The report said a male received two checks to do a roofing job and never got the work done.
A domestic dispute between a male and female was reported in the 500 block of Howertown Road.
A hit-and-run accident occurred at Howertown Road and Fourth Street. The report said a vehicle was struck from behind. The offending driver left the scene. Officers were able to locate the vehicle.
SEPT. 2
In the 400 block of Third Street in Catasauqua, officers assisted Catasauqua police for a wanted male.
A case of identity theft occurred in the 500 block of East 11th Street.
A male and female were reported trespassing in the 1400 block of Newport Avenue.
SEPT. 3
In the 2600 block of Main Street, a hit-and-run accident took place. The report said a legally parked vehicle was struck, causing damage to the driver-side headlight and quarter panel. White transfer paint was found on the struck vehicle.
A reportable two-vehicle accident occurred at Laubach Avenue and East 21st Street.
SEPT. 4
Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute between a male and female in the 1600 block of Railroad Street.
Officers assisted Whitehall police with an accident on Route 145.
SEPT. 6
Criminal mischief was reported in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue. The report said the windshield of a legally parked vehicle was damaged.
SEPT. 7
A hit-and-run accident at Ninth Street and Washington Avenue brought out officers. The report said a legally parked vehicle was struck, causing damage to driver-side front bumper, fender and door.
