Janice I. Rausch, 80, of Emmaus, died Sept. 8, 2016, in her daughter’s home and surrounded by her family. She was the wife of George W. Rausch. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William and Irene M. (Whitenight) Radler.

She was a bench press operator for the former All Dry in Emmaus for many years, retiring in 2001.

Her life was her family.

She is survived by a son, Rodney and his wife Mary Linn, of Wells, Maine; a daughter, Karen and her husband Rick Sampson, of Easton; a son-in-law, Dan Uivary, of Allentown; a sister, Lois Vandenburg, of Allentown; and four grandchildren, Angie, Ben, Abby, and Emily.

There will be a viewing 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service 2:30 p.m. Sept. 17 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, N.Y. 11714.
