Elizabeth M. “Pat” Miller, 87, of Macungie, died Sept. 9, 2016. She was the wife of the late Donald J. Miller. Born in Astoria, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Elizabeth (McGoldrick) Hesse.

She was a secretary at Air Products and Chemicals for many years. Prior to that, she was a secretary for the Suffolk County New York Police Department.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.

She was involved with many community activities, especially the Knights of Columbus, Allentown.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy E. and her husband George Kassis, of Macungie; two sons, Donald J. Jr. and his wife Raphaella, of Northborough, Mass. and Michael S. and his wife Colleen, of Buffalo, N.Y.; a son-in-law, Dr. Thomas McGinley, of Macungie; a sister, Rita and her husband Kevin Connolly, of Massapequa Park, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary McGinley.

Contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown.
