AUG. 29

Two traffic citations were issued in the 900 block of Walnut Street.

In the 700 block of Crane Street, officers responded to a report of persons attempting to enter a vehicle.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., police responded to a civil matter.

In the 200 block of Church Street, a neighbor dispute occurred.

In the 100 block of Pine Street, police were asked to check on the welfare of a person.

A boyfriend and girlfriend dispute occurred in the 400 block of Tioga Street.

AUG. 30

A theft from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Church Street was reported to police.

A fire in an oven occurred in the 600 block of Poplar Street. Police assisted at the scene.

In the 700 block of Third Street, a search for a wanted person occurred in the 700 block of Third Street. Drugs were located and seized.

At Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St., police checked on a person sitting in the hallway.

A suspicious female was reported on Second Street.

In the 700 block of Crane Street, a temporary protection-from-abuse order was granted.

No parking signs were requested in the 400 block of Front Street.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., police assisted a fall victim.

In the 500 block of Fourth Street, police responded to a parking complaint.

In the 500 block of Fourth Street, a suspicious vehicle was reported to police.

Officers assisted Macungie police in the 200 block of Willow Street.

K-9s assisted in a search for a wanted person in the 700 block of Railroad Street.

AUG. 31

In the 600 block of Kurtz Street, items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

A juvenile complaint was made to the department in the 700 block of Third Street. The report said a boy was throwing rocks at cars.

Police sought vehicle repossession information in the 200 block of Second Street.

In the 400 block of Race Street, wires were reported on fire.

An argument occurred between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 400 block of Tioga Street.

A dog bite case that occurred on Fourth Street is under investigation, the department said.

SEPT. 1

In the 500 block of Howertown Road, an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend brought out police to investigate.

A 21-year-old male, of Catasauqua, was arrested in the 400 block of Tioga Street for simple assault.

An 18-year-old male, of Catasauqua, and a 20-year-old male, of Catasauqua, were arrested for strong-armed robbery in the 700 block of Second Street.

At Catty Mart, 547 Front St., an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred.

In the 500 block of Howertown Road, identity theft was reported.

In the 500 block of Howertown Road, police investigated a protection-from-abuse issue.

Officers checked on the welfare of a child at a bus stop on Front Street.

SEPT. 2

A wanted person surrendered to authorities in the 700 block of Third Street.

In the 300 block of Mulberry Street, officers assisted Bethlehem police with a welfare check.

In the 600 block of South 14th Street, an animal complaint was referred to an animal control officer.

A welfare check situation that members of the department conducted on Second Street was referred to ChildLine.

The department, 118 Bridge St., received a harassing phone call.

In the 600 block of St. John Street, police responded to a child custody issue.

On Stonewood Place, an argument between juvenile males brought police to the scene.

Police responded to a report of harassment in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

A cat was found in the 300 block of Walnut Street.

At Fossil’s Last Stand, 429 Race St., an argument occurred between patrons. No arrests were made, and all left for the night.

A male, of Catasauqua, was arrested for simple assault and physical harassment and contact in the 500 block of Howertown Road.

An unwanted male on Howertown Road was reported to police.

In the 700 block of Second Street, a male was arrested for public drunkenness.

A dog was reported lost in the 800 block of Poplar Street.

A registration plate was reported stolen in the 200 block of Wood Street.

In the 300 block of Mulberry Street, a wallet was reported lost.

Officers assisted Whitehall police for a disturbance in the 3000 block of Lehigh Street.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., members of the department sought vehicle repossession information.

In the 300 block of Church Street, a fire pit was extinguished because of an ordinance violation.

A parking complaint was made to police in the 300 block of Church Street. The vehicle was ticketed.

An emergency protection-from-abuse order was granted in the 400 block of Front Street.

Police assisted Coplay and Whitehall police departments with an arrest on Front Street.

SEPT. 5

Police conducted a courtesy transport from Villa Pizza, 7 Lehigh St.

A vehicle fire in the 100 block of Front Street brought police to the scene.

A problem with a neighbor brought police to investigate in the 100 block of American Street.

In the 800 block of Church Street, a runaway juvenile female was reported to police.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 200 block of Front Street.

A parking complaint was made to the department on Cambridge Place. The vehicle was ticketed.

SEPT. 6

Twenty-three parking tickets were filed with the department, 118 Bridge St.

In the 500 block of Front Street, a civil matter was referred to North Catasauqua police.

An argument between a mother and son brought police to the 700 block of Front Street.

At V M Installations Corp., 610 Front St., suspicious activity was reported. The report said people were rummaging through a dumpster.

On Covington Place, an argument between a mother and son caused no arrests.

An unwanted person report was filed with the department. The male left the residence in the 500 block of North 15th Street.

A reckless driver was reported in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue for driving an ATV on the roadway.

Police conducted a citizen assist in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

In the 100 block of South Front Street, police responded to a citizen assist request for a problem with trash.

Members of the department sought information at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

A temporary protection-from-abuse order was granted in the 500 block of Howertown Road.

SEPT. 7

At the department, 118 Bridge St., 11 parking tickets were filed.

At Catty Mart, 547 Front St., paperwork and a checkbook were found.

At Suburban North Family YMCA, 880 Walnut St., officers sought information regarding a harassment by communication case.

In the 700 block of Fifth Street, police sought vehicle repossession information.

In the 200 block of Railroad Street, a vehicle window was broken. Police responded to the criminal mischief.

Suspicious activity was reported at Gentle Care Child Development, 23 N. 14th St.

Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at Family Health Center, 840 Walnut St.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a domestic offense against a family report brought out police.

On Second Street, a male was taken into custody for warrants and numerous traffic violations.

A burglary occurred in the 500 block of Howertown Road. A cellphone was taken.

SEPT. 8

In the 100 block of North 14th Street, middle school children tampering with mail/mailboxes was reported.

At Phoenix Forging Co. Inc., 800 Front St., a parked vehicle was struck. Police responded to the hit-and-run motor vehicle accident.

In the 700 block of Crane Street, the department said a suspicious person report is under investigation.

A vehicle was entered into on Race Street. Nothing was taken.

A female sleeping in a vehicle was reported to police in the 800 block of Bath Avenue.

At Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St., vehicles were entered into, but nothing was taken.

Police investigated a child custody issue in the 500 block of Howertown Road.

Drug paraphernalia was found and destroyed in the 200 block of Walnut Street.

An argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 500 block of Howertown Road brought out police to investigate.

At Fossil’s Last Stand, 429 Race St., the owner of a lost dog was contacted.

In the 800 block of Front Street, identify theft was reported.

A vehicle was entered into on Race Street. Nothing was taken.

At Schlegel’s Dry Cleaners, 120 Race St., change was stolen out of a vehicle.

SEPT. 9

A vehicle was towed on Second Street due to a parking complaint.

At Biery’s Port Bodyworks, 307 Front St., a lost registration plate was reported.

In the 200 block of Prospect Street, a female was bit by a stray cat, police said.

In the 700 block of Front Street, a vehicle was entered into. Nothing was taken.

Harassment was reported in the 600 block of Third Street.
