Carol Lynn (Smith) Lewis, 67, died Sept. 8, 2016, surrounded by loving family and friends. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Randle R. and Mary E. Smith.

She was a graduate of Salisbury High School in 1967 and of Upsala College in 1971.

She was a local day care center director. She became a flight attendant with Capital International Airways and flew both domestic and international for eight years. She then worked for the Lehigh Valley Chapter (Valley Wide Help) Red Cross in Allentown for 25 years.

She was a warm, loving and compassionate woman who cared not only about you but also about your family and your daily life. She loved the beach, especially Ocean City, N.J.

She is survived by her parents, a son, Brett Randall Lewis and a brother, Lee Smith.

There will be a calling hour 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24 at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown.
