Gary A. Smith, 69, of Breinigsville, died Sept. 3, 2016, in his home.

He and his wife Gayle E. (Wittenbreder) Smith were married 47 years.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Everett and Leona (Fueglein) Smith.

He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Breinigsville.

He was employed at Agere for 34 years. After retirement, he became a school bus driver for Parkland School District.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Gary A. II and wife, Rebecca, of Sinking Spring, Sean P.E. and wife, Karla, of Towanda; grandchildren Callum, Grace and Shane; brother Harry Smith of Orefield; and sister, Luci Brooks of Matamoras.

His memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sept. 10 at Bible Baptist Church, 511 Farmington Road, Breinigsville.
