Frank R. Nagy, 62, of Orefield, died on Sept. 4, 2016, in his home.
He and his wife Debra (Higgins) Nagy were married 36 years.
He was the son of Irene (Reichard) Nagy of Bethlehem and the late Frank Nagy.
A 1971 graduate of Freedom High School, he received a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Indiana Institute of Technology in 1975.
His 40-year career in civil engineering included current employment at Chrin of Delaware Inc. and, previously at Berkleigh Excavating Co., Inc. and McTish Kunkel and Associates.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. He was well known for his homemade sausage and beef jerky.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by sons Scott R. and his wife, Gabriela, of South Orange, N.J., Seth G. at home; sisters Janet E. DiTroia and her husband, Joseph, and Diane T. Karp and her husband, Thomas, all of Bethlehem.
He will be missed by his labradoodle, Jersey.
His memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Sept. 10 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
