The first bingo of the fall for Annunciation BVM Church (St. Mary’s Parish Center), Second and Union streets, will be 1 p.m. Sept. 11.

The kitchen will open 11:30 a.m. to eat in or for take out. Get your friends together for an afternoon of fellowship, good food and fun!

Catasauqua Thrift Shop has been closed this past week for cleaning and change-over. The shop will reopen Sept. 12 with all new clothing for fall and winter. Stop in during normal business hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

A gift card bingo will be held 7 p.m. Sept. 16 in the fellowship hall of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road. Doors open 5 p.m. for food and a basket social preview.

There will be 20 games plus three special games.

On Sept. 17 and 18, the basket social will be held.

Check out the baskets 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday; the drawing takes place 1:45 p.m.

Light refreshments will be available.

Tickets are available at the church office 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday or at the door the day of the event.
