Mae L. Rhode, 93, formerly of Emmaus, died Aug. 29, 2016, in Praxis. She was the wife of the late Stanley R. Rhode. Born in Alburtis, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Ella L. (Frederick) Baus.

She worked as a sewing machine operator for the former Perfect Knit and Quality Sportswear for 45 years, retiring in 1985.

She was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus.

She is survived by nieces and nephews and their families.
