Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 19

Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue between a male and female.

A theft from a building in the 100 block of Frank Drive occurred, the department said. Two cellphones were taken from a residence.

At Main and 21st streets, a hit-and-run accident brought out police to investigate. An occupied vehicle was struck; a picture of a vehicle registration was taken, and the offending driver was located.

AUG. 20

Criminal mischief occurred in the 1500 block of Newport Avenue. The report said there were two dents on the trunk of a legally parked vehicle.

AUG. 21

Police responded to a report of a disturbance between a male and female in the 100 block of West 28th Street.

AUG. 22

In the 2000 block of Main Street, a hit-and-run accident occurred. The report said a legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side mirror, a pillar and front fender. A black Chevy Tahoe/Suburban was seen striking the vehicle. The operator of that vehicle was a blonde-haired female who continued north on Main Street, police said.

Officers investigated a harassment complaint against a neighbor in the 2300 block of Dewey Avenue.

An unwanted male was reported in the 1700 block of Main Street.

Police assisted Moore Township Police Department with a domestic violence suspect in the 400 block of East 12th Street.
