AUG. 22

In the 700 block of Faith Drive, a garbage can fire was contained.

Harassment by communication in the 600 block of Pine Street was reported to police.

Sports equipment was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Circle Drive.

A juvenile was reported missing in the 800 block of Church Street.

In the 100 block of Front Street, a noise complaint was filed with the department.

A license plate was found in the 700 block of Front Street.

A reckless driver was reported in the 100 block of Circle Drive. The driver was warned.

In the 600 block of Faith Drive, a parking complaint was filed with the department.

On Third Street, paint ball damage to a vehicle was reported to police.

Officers responded to a civil issue regarding custody in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

AUG. 23

An animal was removed from a roadway on Second Street.

In the 100 block of South 14th Street, a vehicle was egged. Police responded to the criminal mischief report.

Juveniles were warned and released in the 700 block of Front Street when a complaint was made to the department.

At Catasauqua Park & Playground, 501 American St., a juvenile was apprehended and charged with criminal mischief.

An investigation is continuing for a burglary that occurred in the 300 block of Race Street.

In the 700 block of Front Street, police conducted a citizen assist for traffic around a disabled vehicle.

A request for no parking signs in the 200 block of Pine Street was made to the department.

A problem with a stepson brought police to the 200 block of Wood Street.

An IRS scam report in the 1000 block of Race Street was filed with the department.

AUG. 24

In the 800 block of Church Street, a juvenile was reported missing.

Officers and the department K-9 assisted North Catasauqua police with a vehicle search.

A dispute between sisters at Whitter Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., brought police to the scene.

A custody dispute regarding a phone occurred in the 300 block of Race Street, police said.

In the 900 block of Church Street, officers assisted an elderly female.

A registration plate was reported stolen in the 100 block of Front Street.

Police responded to a report of money taken from an account in the 700 block of Front Street.

AUG. 25

At Fossil’s Last Stand, 429 Race St., an intoxicated female was turned away. There were no arrests made for the disturbance.

In the 200 block of Pine Street, a bicycle was found.

AUG. 26

Officers assisted a citizen with getting a taxi from the department, 118 Bridge St.

On Second Street, two vehicles were ticketed for a parking complaint made to the department.

A neighbor dispute in the 200 block of Church Street brought out police to investigate. Citations were filed for the harassment case.

AUG. 27

At Dery Silk Mill, 101 Race St., a child reportedly was left alone, police said. The case was referred to Children and Youth.

A vehicle was tagged in the 500 block of Church Street.

In the 200 block of Race Street, a disabled vehicle was in the roadway.

A resident at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., reported a lost wallet on a LANTA bus.

At Catasauqua Auto Sales, 623 Howertown Road, suspicious activity was reported.

A citation was filed for a loud music complaint at Catasauqua Park & Playground, 501 American St.

In the 200 block of Second Street, a complaint about a dumpster was made to the department.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., an animal complaint of a bat in an apartment was filed with police.

AUG. 28

An investigation is continuing for a burglary that occurred on Railroad Street.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a civil issue over property was reported to police.

At Catasauqua Park & Playground, 501 American St., a problem with a pavilion rental was later resolved.
