Jerald F. Neetz

Jerald F. Neetz, “Pappy” 90, of Emmaus, died Aug. 18, 2016, in At Home, Inc. Born in Emaus, he was the son of the late Charles and Lillian (Hunsberger) Neetz. He was the husband of the late Althea L. (Kehm) Neetz.

He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine during World War II and continued to practice the core values of the U.S. Marine Corps Honor, Courage, and Commitment throughout his life.

He was co-owner of J&J Floor Maintenance and later worked as a custodian for the East Penn School District.

He was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.

He was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville.

He is survived by sons, Ricky A., of Emmaus, Michael A. and his wife Marcella, of Emmaus, Roger L. and his wife Jennifer, of Alburtis, Jerald F., of Bethlehem and Mark W. and companion Susan Kostura, of Fogelsville; brother, Roger, of Florida; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Nicole, Kate, Amber, Megan and Zach; great-grandchildren, James, Charles, Hailey, Logan, Zachary and Bret. He was predeceased by a son, David; brothers, Arthur, John and William.
