Viola B. Schmoyer, 82, of Topton, died Aug. 11, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas S. Schmoyer. Born in Longswamp, she was the daughter of the late Jared and Mabel (Latchaw) Hilbert.

She was employed at R&F Dress Factory and as a school bus driver.

She was a member and cook for Emmaus Fire Co. #1 and enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by children, Randall J. and his wife Susan, Clarence F. and his wife Karen, Tina M. and her husband David Hemphill; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Hilda Flicker. She was predeceased by a daughter Susan, grandchildren Lori A. Hoch and Andrew A. Bailey; brothers, Charles and LeRoy; sisters, Edith Hilbert and Irene Hartzell.

A memorial service was held at the Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville.
