Upper Macungie Township police say a 25-year-old Allentown man allegedly stole 160 bundles of Morning Call newspapers at 1 p.m. Aug. 3 from 7035 Schantz Road, Upper Macungie Township.

Police allege Dion Scheirer, of the 400 block of S. 18th St., Allentown, provided a third party with the newspapers who then sells the coupons in bulk in and around the region.

The total money lost by the Morning call is approximately $965 after repayment to the coupon providers, police say.
