Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.
AUG. 12
The department received a report of a bike and money taken from a residence in the 1500 block of Newport Avenue.
AUG. 13
A hit-and-run accident occurred in the 900 block of Siegfried Avenue, police said. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side doors, fender, bumper and mirror. A witness saw a silver Chevrolet Equinox strike the parked car and leave the scene. The witness stated the offending vehicle had driver-side, front-end damage.
AUG. 14
A reportable accident involving two vehicles occurred at West 21st and Main streets.
AUG. 15
Police assisted a resident in the 1500 block of Washington Avenue.
Criminal mischief was reported in the 2000 block of Washington Avenue. The report said tires were damaged on two legally parked vehicles.
AUG. 17
Suspicious activity by a male and female was reported in the unit block of Grape Street.
Police responded to a hit-and-run accident report in the unit block of East Fourth Street. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side bumper, tail light and mirror.
AUG. 18
In the 1200 block of Newport Avenue, officers investigated a domestic dispute between a male and female.
A theft was reported at Northampton Borough Municipal Pool, in the 1500 block of Laubach Avenue. According to the report, cash was taken from a money bag at a concession stand.
