LeRoy O. Watt, 85, of New Tripoli, died on Aug. 21, 2016, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township.

He was the widower of Dorothy I. M. (Schock) Watt.

Born in Heidelberg Township, he was a son of the late John and Annie (Zettlemoyer) Watt.

He was a truck driver for R&J Paving Inc., New Tripoli and various other companies for most of his life.

He was a member of Christ’s Church at Lowhill, New Tripoli, where he was on the consistory, served on church council for many years, and sang with the choir.

He was also on the cemetery board for Lowhill Cemetery.

His survivors include daughters Darlene D. Smith of Allentown and Carolyn I. Schmoyer of Slatington; sons Dale L. and wife, Sheila M., and Paul F. and wife, Tina, all of Germansville, and Clair C. of New Tripoli; sister Anna Raub of Bethlehem, 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son Dennis and a brother Francis.

His services will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 26, at Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli with the Rev. Chris Cocca officiating.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
