An IRS fraud attempt was made in the 300 block of Margaret Drive.

In the unit block of North Eighth Street, an assault was reported.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the unit block of South Second Street.

Police responded to a complaint of a bat in a building in the unit block of South Fourth Street.

A neighbor dispute was reported to police in the unit block of North Fourth Street.

Members of the department responded to a parking complaint in the 600 block of Schreiber Avenue.

An unknown individual ringing a door bell was reported to police in the 1000 block of Barbara Drive.

The department received a report of a possible wanted person in the unit block of South Second Street.

In the parking lot of Giant, 202 Chestnut St., a motor vehicle accident occurred.

In the unit block of South Second Street, police checked on a building.

Police responded to a civil matter in the 100 block of South Sixth Street.

A parking complaint was made to police in the 700 block of North Seventh Street.

The curfew was violated in the unit block of North Front Street. The juveniles were taken home.

Officers checked on a residence in the 1000 block of Oak Street.

AUG. 19

In the area around 1 Bridge St., a report was made of a black pick-up truck unloading dirt bikes.

The department received a complaint of loud music in the 100 block of North Eighth Street.

A report of a loud radio in the 100 block of North Eighth Street was filed with the department.

In the unit block of South Front Street, police checked on a person sitting on a curb.

Police conducted a building check in the unit block of South Second Street.

AUG. 20

The curfew was violated in the area of North Second and Chestnut streets. Five juveniles walking around were returned home.

A civil matter occurred in the 100 block of North Seventh Street, police said.

Officers checked on the welfare of an unattended child in a vehicle in the Giant parking lot, 202 Chestnut St.

A building check was conducted at 1 Bridge St.

AUG. 21

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police for a vehicle stop in the 1400 block of Main Street.

The department received information regarding an unauthorized use of a vehicle from Weisport possibly parked in the unit block of North Front Street.

A bat flying around the inside of a residence in the 100 block of South Second Street was reported.

A parking complaint in the unit block of North Fourth Street was made to police.
