Catasauqua Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is having a half-price sale Aug. 22-27 on everything in the store, unless marked otherwise.

Donations of good, used, clean clothing are gratefully accepted during store hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

Crafters are needed for the annual applefest and craft fair to be held 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 10 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road. Crafters are requested to stop at the church office or call 610-264-3221 for an entry form.

The festival will feature crafts, games, food, a bake sale and deejay music by Helmut Fried.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 122 Union St., is accepting preschool registrations for the 2016-17 school year. Class times are the following: 3-year-olds, 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and 4-year-olds, 9-11:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
