Lafayette

The following students were named to the 2016 spring semester dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement at Lafayette College, Easton.

To qualify for dean’s list, a student must achieve at least a 3.60 semester grade point average on a scale of 4.0.

Allentown: Kelly Carpency, Allentown Central Catholic High School, Travis Shoemaker, William Allen High School, and Carly Trachtman and David Zahn, both Parkland High School graduates;

New Tripoli: Noah Breininger, Northwestern Lehigh High School; and

Orefield: Kari Schultheis, Northwestern Lehigh High School.

In addition, the following students graduated May 21.

Allentown: Kelly Carpency, Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and sociology, Carly Trachtman, summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics, economics with honors in economics, Omicron Delta Epsilon, Pi Mu Epsilon, Sigma Delta Phi;

Fogelsville: Benjamin Snyder, Bachelor of Arts in economics, government and law;

New Tripoli: Noah Breininger, Bachelor of Arts in mathematics, economics, Sigma Delta Phi; and

Schnecksville: Matthew Maher, Bachelor of arts in Economics.
