Michelle Peters, Andrea Bohner and Michael Peters, the children of Santa Peters, gave her a party to celebrate her 65 years as a private piano teacher in the Lehigh Valley.

A recital, including current and past students, and former members of the Young Musicians Club performed for Santa and her guests.

The performance was followed by a reception.

Peters joined the Allentown Music Club in 1951 as a member of the Credenza Club.

Four years later she became a member of the senior club.

She has served as president of the club, a member of the State Board of the Pennsylvania Federation of Music Clubs, and for 19 years was the counselor for the Young Musicians of the Allentown Music Club.

She continues to serve as the advisor to the Young Musicians.
