Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 1

In the 500 block of Fourth Street, criminal mischief was reported for males going through a vehicle.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred on Second Street. Three vehicles were involved.

Police responded to a report of a dog hit by a vehicle.

In the 400 block of Howertown Road, a vehicle was ticketed.

On Race Street, a traffic citation was issued.

On Third Street, officers assisted North Catasauqua police for a vehicle stop.

AUG. 2

A hit-and-run motor vehicle accident was reported in the 700 block of Second Street. A parked motorcycle was knocked over.

In the 200 block of Tunnel Alley, a hit and run occurred to a parked vehicle.

Twenty-five parking tickets were filed at the department, 18 Bridge St.

On Second Street, a traffic citation was issued.

In the 300 block of American Street, officers responded to a complaint of a stolen credit card number.

AUG. 3

In the 200 block of Limestone Street, police responded to a harassment report for an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

At Catasauqua Pool and Playground, 501 American St., a backpack and its contents were reported missing.

An abandoned vehicle in the 600 block of Front Street was tagged and the plate removed.

Seventeen parking tickets were filed at the department, 18 Bridge St.

On Willow Street, multiple vehicles were ticketed for an abandoned vehicle complaint.

A theft in the 200 block of Second Street was reported to the department for stolen checks.

AUG. 4

Police responded to a disorderly conduct report in the 700 block of Second Street. The disturbance was carried over from a Pennsylvania State Police jurisdiction.

A report about harassing Facebook posts was reported in the 700 block of Second Street.

Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on Third Street.

AUG. 5

In the 100 block of Walnut Street, suspicious activity was reported. The investigation is continuing, the department said.

On Mulberry Street, personal property was found, police said.

An animal complaint was made in the 300 block of Church Street for a dog at large.

AUG. 6

In the 200 block of Church Street, the department received a complaint of fireworks.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of Front Street. Police checked the vacant apartment.
