John V. Matura, 70, of Emmaus, died Aug. 2, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Victor and Jean (Schantzenbach) Matura.

He was a self-employed brick and stone mason.

He is survived by sisters, Sharon and her husband Stephen D. Palencar, Linda and her husband Raymond Cylcewski and Joan and her husband Steven Myers; brothers, David and Donald and his wife.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
