Dorothy M. Fegley, 82, of Zionsville, died Aug. 3, 2016. She was the wife of the late James H. Fegley, Sr. who died in 1992. Born in Zionsville, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Rose (Lagler) Schmaldinst.

She was formerly employed at Rodale Press and was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Zionsville, where she sang on the choir for many years.

She is survived by sons, David C. and his wife Carolee, Michael J. and his companion Tracy; daughter-in-law, Andrea; four grandchildren, Elliott and Kelly, Zachary and Megan, Allison and Adolfo and Kim and David St. John; three great-grandchildren, Evan, Aubrey and Evelyn; sisters, Rose and her husband Bill Vargo, Elsie and her husband Mark Ruth, Theresa and her husband LeRoy Shankweiler and Barbara Rohrbach; brother, Richard and his wife Cynthia. She was predeceased by a son, James Hallett, Jr.; great grandson, Victor Viramontes; brother, Raymond and his wife Shirley and brother-in-law, Ernest Rohrbach.
