Larry P. Follweiler, 79, of Schnecksville, died July 26, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of the late Mary Louise B. (Schaeffer) Follweiler.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Dorothy G. Peters.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era.

A troubleshooter and lineman for PPL, Allentown, for 27 years, he retired in 1996.

He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, and a life member of the Copeechan Fish and Game Club, Schnecksville and Grouse Hall, Ironton.

He is survived by three sons, Barry L. Follweiler of Whitehall, Randy L. Tacker and his wife, Amy, of New Tripoli, Shane L. Follweiler and his wife, Lisa, of Allentown; and three grandchildren Joshua, Jacob and Jillian Tacker.
