An argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 300 block of Church Street brought police to the scene.

In the 400 block of Front Street, police assisted at the scene of a fire.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 200 block of North 14th Street. A vehicle was egged.

A kitchen fire was extinguished by the fire department in the 200 block of Church Street.

An assault was reported at Catasauqua Band Hall, 208 Front St. The investigation is continuing.

In the 100 block of Howertown Road, a motorcycle seat was reported stolen.

A problem with siblings brought officers to the 200 block of Church Street.

In the 500 block of Poplar Street, an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred.

A bicycle was found in the 100 block of Front Street.

JULY 14

Police checked on the welfare of a person sleeping while waiting for the bus on Front Street.

In the 500 block of Howertown Road, police responded to a report of an individual with mental health issues attempting suicide.

The theft of a delivered package in the 100 block of Front Street took place, the department said.

A mother and son dispute in the 600 block of South 14th Street caused police to investigate.

At Catasauqua Highrise, 534 Third St., property damage was reported to police.

On Cambridge Place, an animal complaint was reported.

A noise complaint in the 500 block of Front Street was made to the department.

A 37-year-old female from Catasauqua was arrested for having 105 household pets running at large on Faith Drive. The situation was referred to an animal control officer.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police on Willow Street for missing juveniles.

In the 100 block of Circle Drive, a traffic situation was reported.

JULY 15

In the 600 block of South 14th Street, police investigated a dispute between a mother and son.

In the 400 block of Front Street, music was turned down at a dwelling after police responded to a noise complaint.

Traffic signs were requested at Fossils Last Stand, 429 Race St.

Police received a report of harassment by communication in the 600 block of Third Street.

JULY 16

A harassment case filed at the department was referred to Whitehall police.

In the 100 block of Front Street, police responded to a civil dispute.

A hit-and-run motor vehicle accident occurred in the 700 block of Front Street.

On Eighth Street, officers assisted Coplay police with a DUI arrest.

In the 600 block of Howertown Road, a dispute was reported to the department.

An animal complaint was made to police in the 400 block of Faith Drive. The case was referred to an animal control officer.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., damage done to a vehicle was reported. Police responded to the criminal mischief report.

JULY 18

In the 1100 block of Howertown Road, police assisted North Catasauqua officers for a building check.

A disturbance over loud music was reported at Catasauqua Pool and Playground, 501 American St.

A report of dogs running at large on 14th Street was called in to police. The owners were cited.

In the 500 block of Lehigh Street, two vehicles were involved in a reportable motor vehicle accident.

At Catasauqua Highrise, 534 Third St., suspicious activity was reported to the department. Males were walking around a construction trailer.

Police assisted a citizen who had fallen on Front Street.

JULY 19

In the 600 block of North Eighth Street, police and their K-9s assisted Lehigh County Drug Task Force for a vehicle stop.

A vehicle was ticketed in the 700 block of Bath Avenue.

On Fourth Street, officers assisted North Catasauqua police for a hit-and-run accident.

Police investigated an unattended death in the 200 block of Main Street.

Officers responded to a report of identify theft, which was used to open a UGI account, in the 800 block of Church Street.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a vehicle was moved after it was reported as suspicious.

In the 200 block of Limestone Street, police responded to a civil issue. The case was referred to the magistrate.

JULY 20

A vehicle was repossessed in the 200 block of Limestone Street.

At Fossils Last Stand, 429 Race St., police sought information.

In the 700 block of Fourth Street, police investigated a custody issue over a cat.

On Front Street, a citation was issued.

Members of the department sought information on a vehicle repossession in the 300 block of Race Street.

An animal complaint case in the 200 block of Second Street was referred to an animal control officer.

On Second Street, an owner was notified to move a vehicle.

In the 500 block of Front Street, two vehicles were involved in a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident. The investigation is continuing, police said.

In the 700 block of Front Street, police sought information regarding a domestic situation.

At D & D Market, 252 Race St., a phone was reported stolen.

At Catasauqua Pool and Playground, 501 American St., vehicles were ticketed.

JULY 25

In the 600 block of Railroad Street, a 57-year-old male from Allentown was arrested for simple assault and physical harassment and contact. The investigation is continuing, the department said.

Two dogs were returned to their owner in the 200 block of Wood Street.

In the 700 block of Front Street, a homeless man was taken to Allentown Rescue Mission.

JULY 26

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 500 block of Walnut Street.

An investigation for a reported harassment that occurred on Front Street is continuing, the department said.

In the 100 block of Front Street, vehicles damaged from a fallen tree branch because of a storm were reported.

In the 400 block of Front Street, an assist agency situation was referred to North Catasauqua police.

Police assisted state police in recovering a missing juvenile from the 200 block of Second Street.

JULY 27

A suspect was warned about criminal mischief in the 600 block of Front Street.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred on Second Street.

Criminal mischief (damage done to a vehicle) in the 600 block of Front Street was reported to the department.

At Catasauqua Pool and Playground, 501 American St., backpacks and their contents were reported stolen.

An animal owner was warned about a dog running unleashed around Catasauqua Pool and Playground, 501 American St.

On Howertown Road, a small black dog was found.

JULY 28

On Cambridge Place, officers assisted state police for a search warrant and arrest of an individual.

In the 100 block of Pine Street, a vehicle backed into a parked vehicle. Police responded to the hit-and-run motor vehicle accident report.

In the 200 block of York Street, credit card fraud was reported.

On Third Street, a traffic citation was issued.

JULY 29

A harassment case investigation was referred to Whitehall police.

A reckless driver was reported to the department on Lehigh Street then referred to state police.

A child custody issue at Catasauqua Pool and Playground, 501 American St., brought out police to investigate.

In the 200 block of Limestone Street, officers responded to a report of harassment between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend.

A parking ticket was issued in the 500 block of Church Street.

On Second Street, a traffic citation was issued.

In the 300 block of Walnut Street, bicycles were reported stolen.

Officers assisted a victim who fell on Front Street.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 400 block of Walnut Street. Eggs were thrown at a home.

JULY 30

At Pies on Pizza, 601 Front St., police assisted the fire department for a report of a gas odor.

On Front Street, a tree in the roadway was reported to police.

In the 300 block of Walnut Street, low-hanging wires in a roadway were reported to the department.

A child abuse case from the 100 block of Front Street was referred to Children and Youth.

JULY 31

On Walnut Street, a fight between two females occurred and was stopped by an officer. No arrests were made.

At St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, a vehicle was ticketed.
