A kitchen fire was extinguished by the fire department in the 200 block of Church Street.
An assault was reported at Catasauqua Band Hall, 208 Front St. The investigation is continuing.

A mother and son dispute in the 600 block of South 14th Street caused police to investigate.

In the 1100 block of Howertown Road, police assisted North Catasauqua officers for a building check.
A disturbance over loud music was reported at Catasauqua Pool and Playground, 501 American St.
A report of dogs running at large on 14th Street was called in to police. The owners were cited.
In the 500 block of Lehigh Street, two vehicles were involved in a reportable motor vehicle accident.
At Catasauqua Highrise, 534 Third St., suspicious activity was reported to the department. Males were walking around a construction trailer.

Police investigated an unattended death in the 200 block of Main Street.
Officers responded to a report of identify theft, which was used to open a UGI account, in the 800 block of Church Street.
At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a vehicle was moved after it was reported as suspicious.
In the 200 block of Limestone Street, police responded to a civil issue. The case was referred to the magistrate.
JULY 20
A vehicle was repossessed in the 200 block of Limestone Street.
At Fossils Last Stand, 429 Race St., police sought information.
In the 700 block of Fourth Street, police investigated a custody issue over a cat.
On Front Street, a citation was issued.

Members of the department sought information on a vehicle repossession in the 300 block of Race Street.

In the 600 block of Railroad Street, a 57-year-old male from Allentown was arrested for simple assault and physical harassment and contact. The investigation is continuing, the department said.
Two dogs were returned to their owner in the 200 block of Wood Street.
In the 700 block of Front Street, a homeless man was taken to Allentown Rescue Mission.
JULY 26
An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 500 block of Walnut Street.
An investigation for a reported harassment that occurred on Front Street is continuing, the department said.
In the 100 block of Front Street, vehicles damaged from a fallen tree branch because of a storm were reported.
In the 400 block of Front Street, an assist agency situation was referred to North Catasauqua police.
Police assisted state police in recovering a missing juvenile from the 200 block of Second Street.

A suspect was warned about criminal mischief in the 600 block of Front Street.

On Cambridge Place, officers assisted state police for a search warrant and arrest of an individual.
In the 100 block of Pine Street, a vehicle backed into a parked vehicle. Police responded to the hit-and-run motor vehicle accident report.
In the 200 block of York Street, credit card fraud was reported.
On Third Street, a traffic citation was issued.

A harassment case investigation was referred to Whitehall police.
A reckless driver was reported to the department on Lehigh Street then referred to state police.
A child custody issue at Catasauqua Pool and Playground, 501 American St., brought out police to investigate.
In the 200 block of Limestone Street, officers responded to a report of harassment between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend.
A parking ticket was issued in the 500 block of Church Street.
On Second Street, a traffic citation was issued.
In the 300 block of Walnut Street, bicycles were reported stolen.
Officers assisted a victim who fell on Front Street.
Criminal mischief was reported in the 400 block of Walnut Street. Eggs were thrown at a home.
JULY 30
At Pies on Pizza, 601 Front St., police assisted the fire department for a report of a gas odor.
On Front Street, a tree in the roadway was reported to police.
In the 300 block of Walnut Street, low-hanging wires in a roadway were reported to the department.
A child abuse case from the 100 block of Front Street was referred to Children and Youth.
JULY 31
On Walnut Street, a fight between two females occurred and was stopped by an officer. No arrests were made.
At St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, a vehicle was ticketed.
