Sammy Balliet Stadium continues to make strides in returning the baseball grounds to its decades-long status as one of the premier ballfields in the region. A large, lighted digital scoreboard funded by Coca-Cola will be in place for fall baseball.

Coplay Sports boys biddy team is getting some exposure. A billboard featuring the team in color is on Main Street in Northampton, just north of Lerchenmiller Drive. The team won the Central Whitehall Biddy American Legion Championship.
While the boys and coaches are excited for the publicity, the organization also said it is a good recruiting tool for boys to come out and play baseball.
