Christine C. Smith, 93, of New Tripoli, died July 19, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown.

She was the widow of Richard Mantz and Robert W. Smith.

Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Helen (Peters) Kuhnsman.

She worked for the New Tripoli Post Office as a clerk for 25 years.

She was past president of the Ontelaunee Lioness Club, New Tripoli, and a former member of the New Tripoli Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli.

Her survivors include a daughter, Dianne, wife of C. John Yocum, of New Tripoli; stepdaughters; Janice E. Smith of North Catasauqua, Deborah J., wife of Tony Salvatore, of New Tripoli; stepson William R. of Allentown; grandchildren Sherri McGimpsey and Christopher Yocum; great-grandchildren Amanda and Alissa Gimpsey, Laura Yocum; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother Benjamin Kuhnsman, and sisters Elinor Davies and Jean Hahn.
