In the 500 block of Second Street, a case of identify theft was reported to police.

On Pennsylvania Avenue, the department received a fireworks complaint.

On Canal Street, parking tickets were issued to vehicles without permits.

In the 100 block of Canal Street, abandoned vehicles were tagged.

Seventeen parking tickets were filed at the department, 118 Bridge St.

In the 100 block of Walnut Street, suspicious activity was reported to police.

Police sought vehicle repossession information in the 400 block of Bridge Street.

In the 400 block of Front Street, the department received a noise complaint for people talking loudly outside.

An alarm sounded in the 100 block of Race Street.

On Cambridge Place, a vehicle was tagged for a parking complaint.

JULY 8

In the 400 block of Howertown Road, a traffic citation was issued.

Police are continuing an investigation of a burglary that occurred in the 900 block of Race Street.

At Sunnyside Coin Laundry, 413 Front St., a report was made for a barking dog.

In the 700 block of Fourth Street, police assisted Children and Youth Services.

In the 100 block of Walnut Street, a vehicle was damaged. Officers responded to the criminal mischief report.

Items were reported taken from a back porch in the 700 block of Front Street.

The department received a complaint of fireworks in the 100 block of Howertown Road.

A harassment investigation is continuing in the 200 block of Front Street, police said.

On 14th Street, it was reported a truck struck wires.

In the 1000 block of Third Street, police assisted North Catasauqua officers with an arrest.

Unwanted phone calls were reported to the department in the 200 block of High Street.

At Blondies, 333 Front St., a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident occurred. A vehicle hit a parked car.

A citizen assist case filed at the department, 118 Bridge St., was referred to Lehigh County detectives.

A parking complaint was made to police, and a parking ticket was issued, in the 500 block of Third Street.

A parking ticket was issued in the 100 block of Canal Street.

In the 100 block of Front Street, a power outage was reported. Police advised complainants to call PPL.

Branches hanging in a roadway were removed by the fire department in the 600 block of Lehigh Street, police reported.

In the 100 block of South Front Street, a party outside agreed to quiet down when a noise complaint was made.

A hit-and-run motor vehicle accident occurred on Union Street. A parked vehicle was hit.

Officers responded to a disturbance report of an argument over a parking space in the 200 block of Front Street.
