Adeline R. Miller, 87, formerly of Schnecksville, died July 21, 2016, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Earl A. Miller Jr.

Born Oct. 29, 1928, in North Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin C. and Elma S. (New-hard) Remaley.

She was a secretary at the former Carol J. Sowers CPA, Allentown, for five years before retiring.

Prior to that, she was employed at the certified public accounting firm of Campbell, Rappold and Yurasits LLP, Allentown for 26 years.

Active in the life of her church, she was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, where she formerly served on the consistory, worship committee, the 55-plus confirmation reunion committee, acolyte program coordinator and office volunteer.

Her survivors include sons Barry E. and his wife, Brenda, of Pfafftown, N.C., Todd E. and his wife, Vicki, of Clovis, N.M.; siblings Dorothy V. Best of Schnecksville, Grace E. Schneck and her husband, Clair, of Slatington, John J. Remaley and his wife, Nancy, of Allentown, Benjamin C. Remaley Jr. and his wife, Ellie, of Benton, Richard D. Remaley of Slatington; grandsons Dr. Michael B. Miller of North Carolina, Scott A. Miller and Mark E. Miller, both of New Mexico; and great-grandson, Avery Hardison-Miller of New Mexixo.
