Gordon Paul Nyce, 81, of Allentown, died on July 14, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife Joyce A. (Thomson) Nyce were married more than 60 years.
Born in Lansdale, he was the son of the late Harvey G. and Mamie Florence (Winsch) Nyce.
For 35 years, he worked in the offices of Mack Trucks and, after retirement, he as a driver for Easton Coach (VAST).
He was a charter member of Church of the Nazarene, Macungie, where he served on various boards and helped with lawn maintenance.
He loved the outdoors, working in his yard, gardening and enjoying nature.
After graduation from Galena High School in Maryland, he served in the U.S. Army for 18 months in South Korea immediately following the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Paul G. of Hingam, Mass., William A. and his wife, Laurie A., of Breinigsville, Bryan K. and his wife, Lisa, of Allentown; daughters Cynthia J. Gray of Reading, Carol E., and her husband, Jon Beck, of St. Charles, Mo.; sister Patrica Bleam of Allentown; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by five siblings and great-granddaughter Jordyn Johnson.
