Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JUNE 25

The department reported it is continuing a disturbance investigation that took place in the 200 block of Church Street.

The department received a report of a raccoon in a backyard in the 800 block of Church Street.

On Fourth Street, officers responded to a hazardous condition report. A vehicle was moved.

In the 100 block of Railroad Street, a vehicle was ticketed.

Police assisted a citizen in the 200 block of Church Street for a landlord/tenant issue.

JUNE 26

An 18-year-old male from Catasauqua was arrested for terroristic threats, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Police received a report of vehicle tires slashed on Covington Place.

A disturbance investigation that occurred at Candy Cane Playground, 113 Walnut St., is continuing, the department reported.

Police said they are continuing a burglary investigation that took place in the 200 block of Second Street.

Officers responded to a report of garbage left on a sidewalk in the 500 block of Church Street.

JUNE 27

In the 500 block of American Street, state citations were issued due to the failure to respond to parking tickets.

A fire in the 400 block of Race Street brought out police to the scene.

Police said a dog was bitten by another dog in the 500 block of Howertown Road. The situation was referred to an animal control officer.

Officers assisted EMS for an overdose in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

A theft occurred in the 800 block of Race Street.

Police received a report of garbage thrown on a front porch in the 500 block of Race Street.

JUNE 28

At Catasauqua Playground, 500 St. John St., a noise complaint was made to the department. Police responded, and the offenders left when asked.

In the 200 block of Wood Street, police checked on the welfare of an individual.

On Covington Place, a suspicious vehicle was reported to police.

A verbal argument occurred between family members in the 400 block of Prospect Street.

Police said a theft occurred in the 200 block of Liberty Street.

JUNE 29

In the 600 block of Third Street, a problem with a neighbor caused officers to respond to the scene.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers for a motor vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Fourth Street.

JUNE 30

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 100 block of Pine Street, the department reported.

A cat was reported missing in the 700 block of Third Street.

In the 200 block of Church Street, a resident reported receiving harassing text messages.

A 48-year-old male from Whitehall was arrested for public drunkenness at Verizon, 321 Second St.

In the 200 block of Peach Street, a traffic citation was issued.

JULY 1

A juvenile complaint was made to the department in the 700 block of Second Street.

In the 500 block of Faith Drive, a fire from burning tree branches was extinguished.

Police responded to an animal complaint of dogs running at large in the 800 block of Race Street.

On Front Street, a juvenile complaint was made to the department.

JULY 2

On Sixth Street, officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a report of a disturbance.

In the 1100 block of Crane Street, officers assisted Coplay and North Catasauqua police departments.

The department is continuing a retail theft investigation that occurred at Catty Mart, 547 Front St.

Police sought information from Crazy Mama’s, 129 Bridge St., for a missing adult report.

In the 200 block of Edward Lane, an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend took place. Police responded.

On South Front Street, a water main leak was reported to police.

In the 100 block of Wood Street, a dog was found and returned to its owner.

At Catasauqua Park & Playground, 501 American St., a suspicious male with a metal detector was reported.

The department received a complaint of fireworks in the 700 block of Poplar Street.

Police received a fireworks complaint in the 100 block of Howertown Road.

In the 400 block of Front Street, police responded to a noise complaint to the rear of Aquasat Bar, 401 Front St.

In the 600 block of American Street, the department received a report of criminal mischief.

A 24-year-old male from Catasauqua was arrested for criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public drunkenness in the 200 block of Church Street.

JULY 3

On Walnut Street, a traffic citation was issued.

In the 1000 block of Howertown Road, police assisted North Catasauqua officers for a motor vehicle accident.

A noise complaint was made to police on Front Street.

Police sought information in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Mulberry Street for a domestic issue.

The department received a fireworks complaint in the 200 block of High Street.

In the 200 block of High Street, police received a complaint of fireworks.

On Race Street, police responded to a complaint of fireworks in the area.

In the 900 block of Bridge Street, a fireworks complaint was made to the department.
