Blanche M. Weaver, 96, of Kempton, died July 13, 2016, in Hamburg.
Her husband Harold D. Weaver died in 1982.
Born in Albany Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Messina S. (Hemerly) Bailey.
She worked at the former Wenton Shoe Co, Kutztown, during the 1950s and 1960s.
A longtime member and former quilter at New Bethel Church, Kempton, she was a member of the Kempton Fire Company, where she actively volunteered at many fire company dinners and fundraisers.
She was well known for her prize winning pies and hickory nut cakes.
Her survivors include a daughter Marlene B. Fink of Mertztown; daughter–in-law Helen O. (Snyder) Weaver of Kempton; and her beloved grandchildren Michael Weaver, Darren Weaver and Angela Fink.
She was predeceased by a son Ronald H., granddaughter Tamara Fink and seven siblings.
Her funeral service and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
The Rev. David W. Blitch will officiate.
