Susan M. Snyder, 67, of New Tripoli, died July 8, 2016.

She was the beloved wife of Gary D. Snyder to whom she was married 43 years on June 9.

Born in Whitehall, she was the daughter of Lorene (Roth) Lazarus of Whitehall and the late Calvin H. Lazarus.

She showed unquestionable devotion to her faith, family, friends and work.

She was a member of Living Stone Fellowship, New Tripoli, since its inception.

Her outstanding work ethic began at an early age at the Lazarus Roadside Produce Stand and later Western Union.

Her longest tenure was working for her treasured employer Alvin H. Butz Inc. as an office manager and accountant for 35 years before retiring in 2006.

One of her many fine qualities was her beautiful heart and unwavering commitment to all whom she loved.

In addition to her loving husband and mother, she is survived by sons, Brett A. Snyder and wife, Carissa, and Josh N. Snyder and wife, Lacey, all of New Tripoli; grandchildren Tate, Lucas, Trey and Slade Snyder; siblings Grant Lazarus and wife, Linda, of Germansville, Carol Bennecoff and husband, Terry, of Kutztown, Gary Lazarus and wife, Nancy, of Germansville, Wayne Lazarus and wife, Grace, of Germansville, Gloria Bingaman and husband, Daniel, of Tamaqua, Lynn Lazarus and wife, Ilene, of Germansville, Donna Strawbridge of Whitehall, and Leslie Lazarus and wife, Rhonda, of Breinigsville.

She was predeceased by her sister, Janet Lazarus.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. July 15, at Living Stone Fellowship, 6925 Flint Hill Road, New Tripoli, with Pastor Jean F. Masiko officiating.

Visitation period will be 9-11 a.m. Friday in the church.

Interment will follow the service at Ebenezer Church Cemetery, New Tripoli.
