Harvey E. Beahn Sr., 85, formerly of Coopersburg, died July 7, 2016, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

He was the husband of the late Mabel M. (Erney) Beahn.

Born Feb. 6, 1931, in Upper Saucon Township, he was the son of the late Edwin and Nora A.M. (Roth) Beahn.

He was employed in the maintenance department of the former Laneco, Coopersburg, for 15 years before retiring 1989.

Prior to that, he worked for the Southern Lehigh School District for 18 years.

His survivors include a daughter Shirley A. Strauss and her husband, Arthur, of Allentown; grandchildren Sean and Alyse Strauss, Stephanie and Chris Crider; and great-grandchildren Brennan, Connor, Paisley and Taylor.

He was predeceased by a son Harvey E. Beahn Jr.
