Festival, craft show on July 22, 23
Upper Lehigh Lions will be staging their annual festival at Union United Church of Christ grove, Neffs, July 22 and July 23.
The event begins at 7 p.m. July 22, with music provided by Crazy Hearts until 10 p.m. Come earlier for barbecues and other great foods cooked by members of the Lions Club.
On July 23, the annual craft show takes place 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Vendors will be set up in the grove, while DJ Scott Bateman will supply entertainment.
Breakfast will be served 8-11 a.m.
A free health fair will run throughout the day with blood pressure screening, child safety ID services, and Sparky the Fire Dog.
The Miller-Keystone Blood Bank will be on hand accepting donations of blood.
The Large Flower Heads will be on stage 7-10 p.m. with music from the ’60s.
Food stands will be open with a variety of options.
Here’s an opportunity to get outside and connect with people in the community while supporting the Lions Club and its charitable causes.

Agape Fellowship Church, 5299 Route 873, Schnecksville, will have an indoor and outdoor yard sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. July 15 and 8 a.m.-noon July 16.
Baked goods and refreshments will be available.
The event benefits children and youth ministries.

The Keenagers group will meet noon July 19 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station.
Visitors and new members are invited to come and enjoy a picnic luncheon with barbecues and hot dogs provided.
Bring a side dish or dessert to share.
The breast cancer support group will meet 7 p.m. July 28.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have Blessing of the Animals at the 10:30 a.m. worship service July 17 in the grove.
Come and enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting and see the many pets brought that day to the Rev. Patience Stevenson for a blessing.
The church will be accepting cat and dog food, treats, and toys for a local shelter that morning.
