Dolores J. “Aunt Sis” Xander, 84, of Lower Macungie Township, died July 6, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Township, in the presence of her family. She was the wife of the late Donald L. Xander who died in August 2015. Born in Wescosville, she was a daughter of the late Luke William and Myra Euphema (Mickley) DeLong.

A graduate of Emmaus High School, she was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Wescosville.

She loved baking, sewing, knitting, quilting, reading and cats and lived for God and family.

She is survived by sons, David L. and his wife, Carol A., of Allentown, Daniel L. and his wife Karla K., of Claussville; daughters, Danette J. and her husband Rick Woodward, of Laconia, N.H., Doreen J. and her husband Don Keyser, of Macungie; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; feline companion, Joey. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris J. Schmoyer.
