David C. Hoch
David C. Hoch, 57, of Slatington, died July 8, 2016, in Palmerton Hospital.
He and his wife LeAnn K. (Hartz) Hoch were married 31 years last October.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Carl and Katharine (Behler) Hoch of Orefield.
Vice president of retail lending at New Tripoli Bank, Claussville, he was treasurer of the Heidelberg Game Protective Association, Leaser Lake Heritage Foundation and the 4-H Development Fund.
A life member of Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, he was an active member of Wings Rod and Gun Club.
He was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli.
Aa devoted husband and father, he loved spending time with his family and friends, and was truly beloved by many.
He enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing and gardening, and was an avid bird watcher.
He loved taking his dog, Gracie, for walks and pheasant hunting.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Dianna C. and husband, Erich Klein III, of Canton, N.Y. and Kaitlyn L. of Slatington; son Andrew D. of Slatington; brothers Peter and wife, Linda, of Chittenango, N.Y., James of Fort Bragg, Calif., and Timothy and partner, Gabriel Monsalve, of Slatington; nieces and nephews.
His service will be at 11 a.m. July 16, at Ebenezer UCC, 7293 Decatur St. New Tripoli, with the Rev. Kevin E. Fruchtl officiating.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Interment will be private.
