Verna M. Rabenold, 92, formerly of Fogelsville, died July 3, 2016, in ManorCare, Allentown.

She was the widow of Edwin H. Rabenold Jr.

Born in Fogelsville, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Florence R. (Laudenslager) Derr.

She was a clerk for the former Industrial Valley Bank for 23 years before retiring in 1985.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fogelsville, where she sang for more than 50 years with the choir.

Her survivors include sons Edwin H. III and wife, Amy, of Orefield and Brian J. and wife, Lynn, of Fogelsville; daughter Jane L. DiBonaventura of Thomasville, N.C.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Her services will be 11 a.m. July 9 at Keller Funeral Homes Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Nelson Quiñones officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-11a.m.

Interment will be at Fogelsville Union Cemetery.
