Lehigh Career and Technical Institute and Parkland High School student Kyle Tretter, in precision machine tool technology won first place in the precision machine technology contest at the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania Leadership and Skill Championships held April 13-15 at Hershey Lodge.

Northwestern Lehigh High School student Gavin Mengel, in precision machine tool technology earned second place in the CNC Technician contest at the state championships.

SkillsUSA is one of seven career and technical student organizations at LCTI.

Diesel Medium and Heavy Truck Technology instructor Randy Schock serves as the chapter advisor.
