Three Lehigh Carbon Community College students enrolled in the School of Healthcare Sciences, Mathematics and Science or Technology each received a $1,500 scholarship from Dr. James and Penny Pantano.

Pantano scholarships are awarded for the spring semester to continuing students within Lehigh, Carbon and Schuylkill counties who show academic promise and demonstrate community involvement.

Ryan Dzojko of Schnecksville, computer and information systems; Breanna Quinn of Palmerton, occupational therapy assistant; and Michael Lackman of Orefield, health information technology; received the scholarships.

The students attended a private luncheon recently at Lehigh Country Club with Dr. and Mrs. Pantano.
