Nevin Follweiler

Nevin Follweiler, 87, of Allentown, died July 2, 2016, in Arden Courts, Wescosville.

He was the widower of Roma E. (Mantz) Follweiler.

Born in Lynn Township, he was the son of the late Clarence J. and Hattie M. (Donat) Follweiler.

He worked for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Co. in the accounting department for 42 years.

A member of Jacob’s Church, Jacksonville, Lynn Township, he was the past worshipful master of the former Barger Lodge, now Greenleaf Lodge No. 561 F.&A.M., Allentown.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He enjoyed following his children’s and grandchildren’s activities throughout their lives.

His survivors include sons Glenn J. and wife, Leslie, of Walnutport, Scott A. and wife, Barbara, of Easton; daughters Cynthia R. Counts of Wescosville, Wendy S., wife of Steven Perlstein, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; grandchildren Keri, Lindy, Roger, Ryan, Michael, Casey, Quinn, Garrett, and Tate; and 10 great-grandchildren.

His service will be at 11 a.m. July 7, at Keller Funeral Homes Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Dave Long officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-10:45 a.m. with Masonic services at 10:45 a.m.

Interment will be at Jacob’s Cemetery, Jacksonville.
