Jennifer Miller of Schnecksville was recently inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society during the spring semester at Delaware Valley University.
The Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society encourages superior scholastic achievement among first-year students.
To be inducted, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during their first full-time year.
The society promotes intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning.
Members are encouraged to recognize and develop meaningful goals for their unique roles in society.
Miller, a Presidential Merit Scholarship recipient, was also honored for high academic achievement by being named to the dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester at Delaware Valley University, Doylestown.
Delaware Valley University is an independent, comprehensive university that emphasizes experiential and interdisciplinary learning.
Through the innovative Experience360 Program, all DelVal students gain real world experience in their fields.
Miller is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in small animal science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine in the School of Life and Physical Sciences at the university.
She is a 2015 graduate of Parkland High School.
She is the daughter of Jim and Becky Miller of Schnecksville.
