Hokendauqua: Community meal is July 19
A Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative community meal will be served 4:30-7 p.m. July 19 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road.
The free meal is guaranteed for the first 100 guests.

First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua, 3005 S. Front St., will host Vacation Bible School July 25-27. The church will have crafts, snacks, games and, of course, a fun Bible lesson.
A light dinner will be served 5:30-6 p.m.; there is no charge for the dinner. The program Deep Sea Discovery begins 6 p.m. and continues until 8 p.m.
Children must be at least 3 years of age to participate in the program.
You do not have to be a member of the church to attend; all are welcome.

Camp Rhythmo is currently taking enrollments for its musical theater workshops. Programs take place at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Disney’s “Aladdin,” a one-week workshop for students in grades 1-8, takes place 9 a.m.-1 p.m. July 18-22 with a performance July 22.
A two-week program for kindergarten through sixth-grade students will take place 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 1-12.
From 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 1-5, enroll your preschool child age 3-5 in the junior program, “Dancing Through the Fairy Tales.”

As a goal to be the “best small car show in Pennsylvania,” Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church is planning its eighth annual Wheels of Faith car show and craft fair event 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 20.
There will be cars, crafts, food, a 50/50 drawing, fun and more. Deejay “Johnny D” will provide music, and Allentown Police Department and its K-9s will conduct a presentation.
Dining will be available in the air-conditioned social hall from 8 a.m. to ending time with breakfast served until 10 a.m.
Mayor Edward D. Hozza Jr. is expected to be in attendance around 2 p.m.
The church again will donate part of the proceeds to Whitehall Food Pantry.
Rain date is 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 21.
