Summer has officially arrived as of June 20, and the Fourth of July is right around the corner. Enjoy your summer picnics and parties.

We are lucky to have wonderful public pools in the township where we can cool off and relax. Utilize our pools and enjoy the summer.

When looking for something fun to do locally, Cement Belt Fair will take place June 27 through July 2 at Cementon Park. This is a great way to spend a summer evening eating delicious food fare and playing fun games. There are always great rides for the kids, too. A bonus is that you’ll most likely run into some friends or neighbors.

The fair always closes with a spectacular fireworks show, so pay attention to the night sky July 2!

Kutztown Folk Festival begins July 2 and runs through July 10.

This is another nice opportunity to take a day off and enjoy the entertainment, food fare and quilt displays.
