Richard A. Stephen, 66, of Albrightsville, formerly of Schnecksville, died June 13, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born April 14, 1950, in Northampton, he was the son of Alice M. (Good) Stephen of Schnecksville and the late Ernest C. Stephen.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era.

Employed at Kraft Foods in Fogelsville for eight years before retiring, he previously was an owner/operator truck driver and worked at Mack Trucks Inc.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by children Sandra J. Cope and her husband, Nevin, of Danielsville, Richard A. II of Laurys Station, and Jeramy J. Sr. and his wife, Laura, of Spanaway, Wash.; sisters Barbara A. DeFrain and her husband, Walter, of Schnecksville, Janice L. Meinhart and her husband, Eugene, of New Tripoli, Jane M. Stephen of Allentown; grandchildren Jeramy Jr., Caiden, McKenzie and Madison; many nieces and nephews.
