Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.
JUNE 10
Police responded to a suspicious act report in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The report said a vehicle was entered into; the console was opened; and items were thrown around. Nothing was taken.
JUNE 11
An unwanted male in the 600 block of Main Street was reported to police.
In the 1300 block of Stewart Street, a purple Mongoose bicycle was taken from a backyard.
A reportable accident occurred at 21st Street and Northampton Avenue.
JUNE 12
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 3000 block of Eisenhower Drive. The report said a male was causing a disturbance.
JUNE 13
In the 1300 block of Canal Street, a vehicle theft was filed with the department. A purse was taken from a vehicle by gaining access through an open window.
A domestic disturbance between two females took place in the 400 block of East 11th Street.
JUNE 14
Members of the department investigated a reportable accident involving two vehicles in the unit block of West 21st Street.
A hit-and-run accident occurred in the 2000 block of Main Street. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side front fender, brush guard and mirror. Another glass mirror was located at the scene, belonging to a Chrysler passenger car.
Police responded to a report of a vehicle theft in the 600 block of East 19th Street. The report said a vehicle was entered into by reaching into a partially open window and unlocking the door. Loose change and a $5 bill were taken.
K-9 Vito assisted in a search in the 500 block of East 10th Street.
JUNE 15
An unwanted male was reported to police in the 1800 block of Main Street.
A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 500 block of East Fifth Street. An unlocked vehicle was entered into; loose change and gift cards were taken.
In the 1000 block of Main Street, officers responded to a report of a male “acting out.” Officers were unable to locate the individual.
Police responded to a reportable accident involving one vehicle at Main and 21st streets.
JUNE 16
The department received a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. An unlocked vehicle was entered into; loose change and phone chargers were taken.
Police responded to a report of another vehicle theft in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. An unlocked vehicle was entered into; loose change, a pair of women’s shoes, sunglasses and prescription medicine were taken.
In the 1700 block of Hokendauqua Avenue, officers investigated a vehicle theft. The report said an unlocked vehicle was entered into; prescription glasses and sunglasses were taken.
