Dorothy M. Tielmann, 89, of Schnecksville, formerly of Wescosville, died June 15, 2016, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.
She was the wife of the late Charles C. Tielmann.
Born May 8, 1927, in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Robert K. and Lottie M. (Silfies) Warke.
Active in her community, she was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, Eastern Star, Daybreak and Lehigh County Conference of Churches.
She was a volunteer at the local food bank and regularly served Thanksgiving dinner to those in need.
She enjoyed her time as a poll worker in local elections, and loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her survivors include a daughter Donna M. Henry and her husband, Jay, with whom she resided; son Donald G. Murphy and his wife, Debra, of Hummelstown; grandchildren Marc Murphy and wife, Brandi, of South Carolina, Christina Riou and husband, Benjamin, of Michigan, Jason Henry and wife, Annie, of New York City, N.Y., Matt Henry and wife, Elizabeth, of Pennsylvania, Erik Henry and wife, Tonia, of California; and great-grandchildren Tristan Charles and Brayden Rhys Murphy, Elena Marie Cerise Riou, Emma Paige and Caroline Leigh Henry.
