Doris M. Herman, 87, of New Tripoli, died June 16, 2016, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.
She and her husband Asher D. Herman were married 62 years last Sept. 26.
Born in Steinsburg, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Aletha (Guild) Kriner Jr.
A seamstress for Penn State Mills for many years, she later worked in the cafeteria for the Parkland School District before retiring in 1992.
She loved taking care of her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
They feel blessed to have had her in their lives for so many years and will miss her dearly.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Cynthia L., wife of James Hughes Jr. of New Tripoli; brother Robert Kriner and wife, LaRue, of Allentown; granddaughter Kaitlyn A.; nieces; nephews; and grandpets Hailey and Stanley.
She was predeceased by a brother John C. III and a sister Betty Meyers.
