JUNE 5
Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Peach Street.
At Catasauqua Public Works, 234 Peach St., an animal complaint was made.
In the 800 block of Poplar Street, a dog was found and returned to its owner.
Officers responded to a criminal mischief report in the 600 block of Front Street. A garage door was damaged.
JUNE 6
On Second Street, a civil issue between a landlord and tenant occurred, police reported.
A dog was found and the owner located in the 400 block of Church Street.
At V M Installations Corp., 610 Front St., a license plate was stolen from a vehicle.
In the 200 block of Second Street, an investigation is continuing for a harassment case.
Members of the department responded to a dog bite report in the 300 block of Edward Lane. The situation was referred to an animal control officer.
An argument between a mother-in-law and son-in-law caused no arrests in the 200 block of Front Street.
At Catasauqua Park & Playground, 501 American St., an ordinance violation - a group playing volleyball after dark - occurred. The group left when asked.
A bicycle was found on 13th Street.
JUNE 7
A driver’s license was reported missing in the 500 block of Pine Street.
At Sunnyside Coin Laundry, 411 Front St., a door was damaged. Police responded to the criminal mischief.
At M & B Market, 410 Second St., a dog was found and the owner contacted.
In the 1300 block of Fourth Street, police assisted North Catasauqua officers with a DUI arrest.
Police responded to an animal complaint in the 100 block of Pine Street for a lost cat.
A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred on 10th Street. Two vehicles were involved.
Officers investigated an unwanted person report in the 700 block of Third Street.
In the 100 block of Wood Street, items were stolen from a vehicle.
Police responded to a civil matter on Second Street.
An investigation is continuing for a citizen assist in the 100 block of Front Street.
A problem between a mother and son brought no arrests in the 100 block of Front Street.
Thirty-five parking tickets were filed with the department, 118 Bridge St.
JUNE 8
At Aquasat Lounge, 119 Bridge St., a male sleeping in a vehicle was reported to police.
A report of dogs running at large on South 14th Street was investigated by the department.
An animal complaint report occurring in the 100 block of Bridge Street was referred to an animal control officer.
A protection-from-abuse order was violated at V M Installations Corp., 610 Front St.
JUNE 9
An unlocked vehicle was entered into in the 300 block of Edward Lane. Nothing was taken.
Police assisted EMS on Second Street for a report of an overdose.
In the 700 block of Crane Street, an IRS scam was reported to the department.
In the 700 block of Third Street, an assault investigation is continuing.
Police sought information on a lost cat in the 600 block of South 14th Street.
Police responded to a child custody issue in the 300 block of Second Street.
Members of the department sought information regarding a citizen assist in the 400 block of Bridge Street.
On Pineapple Street, a traffic citation was issued.
JUNE 10
At the department, 118 Bridge St., a solicitation permit was requested.
At Schlegel’s Dry Cleaners, 120 Race St., yard sale items were stolen.
A domestic dispute occurred in the 700 block of Limestone Street.
Police responded to a dispute over household chores at Candy Cane Playground, Second Street.
A landlord/tenant dispute brought police to the scene in the 100 block of Second Street.
In the 500 block of American Street, parking tickets were issued.
Police responded to a dog-at-large report in the 800 block of Faith Drive. The owner located the animal.
JUNE 11
In the 400 block of Front Street, a harassment issue occurred, the department reported.
A 32-year-old male from New Jersey was arrested in the 300 block of Wood Street for criminal trespassing, entering a building, criminal mischief and intentional damage.
Police responded to a noise complaint because of a neighbor dispute in the 400 block of Erie Street.
A 58-year-old female from Catasauqua was cited for harassment in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
In the 800 block of Walnut Street, a dog at large was reported to police. The dog was returned to its owner.
Officers assisted EMS for an intoxicated person at Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St.
A dog was reported missing on Covington Place.
Members of the department are continuing an investigation for shots fired during an assault situation in the 100 block of Front Street.
JUNE 12
In the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, police responded to a harassment issue.
The department received a report of a squirrel in a house in the 100 block of Walnut Street. Police advised the homeowner to call Critter Control.
An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 300 block of Walnut Street.
Officers assisted airport police in the 3300 block of Airport Road.
In the 200 block of American Street, an investigation is continuing for a harassment case.
